Nickel Boys

In this episode, the crew discusses the sophomore directorial entry of renowned American photographer, RaMell Ross, in his masterful and daring creation, Nickel Boys. Adapted from the 2019 Colson Whitehead novel, the film follows Elwood Curtis, a Black high school student who is wrongfully placed in the Nickel Academy, a reform school for the youth.
